The Top 10 TGNC DJs of 2026

Just as important to the TGNC community of New York as our musicians are our DJs. TRAN MAGAZINE NYC is proud to celebrate our TGNC community’s favorite C-U-N-T DJs of 2026! The criteria for our list, and therefore, our top picks, are based on three factors: whether they are based in NYC/spin mainly in NYC, their unique or valued contribution to the scene, and last, but not least, their following and audience appeal. Special thanks to these artists for lighting up the dance-floor, letting us escape the travails of the world, and fostering TGNC community! Support your local DJs!!!

DJs:

PUNKAL0ID

PUNKAL0ID is a New York DJ with Floridian flair. Not only does he draw his music tastes from the diverse culture of Florida, but also has a fighting spirit that he honed being a trans and LGBTQ+ activist under the anti-queer Desantis regime. He draws upon diverse sounds from both the global North and South including house, techno, baile funk, and hardstyle.

Caín Lima

Caín Lima is a Peruvian queer icon who performs both in her native Lima and in NYC where she summers. She combines her mixes, which draw upon her musical heritage, with her work as a visual artist, creating a truly TRANScontinental art project. She mostly mixes techno and reggaeton.

Archangel

Archangel is a resident DJ at Body Hack (Tran’s favorite TGNC party!) and at Lot Radio. Hailing originally from Richmond, VA, she founded the Ice Cream Social there, a monthly trans focused party and community event. Now based in NYC, she primarily mixes house and Jersey club tracks, with hip-hop, techno, and R&B on the side.

Sevyn 0000

Sevyn 0000 (not to be confused with Sevyn Love) is a fashion icon and DJ. She relocated from LA to NYC in 2024 and has found a comfortable home playing at Basement and Bossa Nova. She primarily mixes techno, in addition to creating beats herself on the side.

Goth Jafar

Goth Jafar / Suffy is a London-based DJ who developed her talents in and still sometimes performs in NYC. She was a regular DJ for NTS Radio, hosting the Jafairy Oasis program, where she primarily mixed trance and techno, which she also mixes in her non-NTS sets.

Naija Couture

Naija Couture is a Nigerian-American transmasculine DJ and activist. As one of the few transmasc DJs in NYC, he combines his mixes with being one of the leading advocates for the health and rights of Black trans men in this city. When he does do mixes, he primarily focuses on house tracks

Fashion (@tightcorsetloosemorals)

Fashion is, in her own words, an “Asian-American transsexual diva.” She models, DJs, and serves cunt. What more could you ask for out of a woman? She spins the decks both in NYC, and, to a lesser frequency in Berlin. She primarily mixes trance and techno.

Nita Aviance / The Carry Nation

Nita Aviance is one half of The Carry Nation and a decades long Brooklyn nightlife icon. Much like Huxtable, she is on the creative board of QNCC. She generally mixes a combination of house and techno, leaning more on the house side when mixing with Will Automagic as The Carry Nation.

Armana Khan is a Pakistani-American princess, DJ, and all-around icon. Drawing upon her Desi roots, she incorporates music from the South Asia and the rest of the global South into her sets, with a transsexual twist, mixing techno, bhangra, and afrobeats, among other genres.

Juliana Huxtable is the resident DJ of Zero Chill, member of the creative board of QNCC, and all-around trans icon. Born in Houston, and currently living in Brooklyn, Huxtable has a decade plus experience working with some of the most iconic electronic artists in history, like SOPHIE and Fatima al-Qadri. Currently, her music of choice to mix is primarily techno.
